NEWS: Study visit in Bari: Sharing best practices in urban mobility
On May 28, 2025, the ADRIAMOVE project held its first study visit in Bari, Italy, as part of Activity 1.3. Organized by the Lead Partner, the visit brought together project partners and stakeholders from across the Adriatic-Ionian region.
Participants had the opportunity to explore real-life mobility solutions implemented in Bari, including:
- Pedestrian zones and the Old Town
- The “Pedibus” school initiative
- Integrated shared mobility services (e-bikes, scooters, cars)
- Cycling infrastructure projects
The visit included expert presentations, on-site demonstrations, and a final brainstorming session to reflect on how similar initiatives could be applied in participants’ home regions. This activity supported knowledge exchange, networking, and collaborative thinking — all key to promoting smarter and more sustainable mobility.
